This class starts with a focus on hamstring flexibility and is followed by warming up the legs with inner thigh stretches, hamstring, and hip flexor stretches. The warm-up also includes core exercises to help us build strength. Keep in mind your core is an important part of being able to hold yourself up in more difficult jumps. We'll move on to center floor with a warm-up jump exercise; a great way to start any jumping routine. Then we'll work across the floor and focus on alternating jeté leaps, kick-out jumps, and scissor arabesques. This class is for the advanced jumper to refine or develop that jumping ability. But as always, take your time, go at your own pace, and have fun!
