We are taking it back to the basics with this beginner jazz combo as Jessica explains how even a good dancer at any level is able to execute beginner choreography and make it look elite. The combo starts on "8" and keeps to that cadence for the first half, then goes back to a normal eight count for the second half. Hitting clean lines and creating smooth transitions are two aspects of the combo to really focus on while you're learning. A good example of a smooth transition is how to come out of the calypso, and Jessica walks you through that. She also highlights the importance of always using your core as you do floor work.
